For those interested in why the Dove/Vaseline (the first combo.) should work out at £2.89/2. We're talking about getting a single Dove Fresh Indulgence Pink - not showing multibuy on MSM so comparing £6 vs T's £4 - and buying with it the Vaseline Mini Make Up Set - which should mix and match in store (as 2 for £8) but work out £6 vs T's price on the Vaseline set of £3.66. Total £6+£6 (although hopefully you paid 2 for £8) vs £4.00 + £3.66 (Dove Indulgence Pink and Vaseline bag). APG should refund from £12 to 10% less than £7.66 = around £5.11 in APG. You only paid £8, so £8 minus £5.11 = £2.89 divided by 2 = about £1.44 per item.

Maybe a teeny bit unfair to make such a claim don't you think. Plenty people on this very thread are probably jobless and not by choice may I add.

Please try to think before posting such a harsh judgement ;)

Well said, i was made redundant on the 30th November. But hey time to catch up on things. New Year new job:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Quite right - I've cut some stuff out of my post now (although if anyone wants the full detail it's still available in your reply to it). Many thanks, I've taken it on board.

I keep getting sidetracked on here today,so given up on working for today and going to wrap pressies instead:)And just done my good deed for the day by taking two huge bags of stuff to the charity shop(I usually think I'll do it then don't and it ends up going to the tip:eek::eek:) so feeling all pleased with myself, especially when the lady in there was so grateful and said they're hardly getting anything at the moment:(

Well done:) I have a load of clothes in the shed & the spare bedroom, that I keep meaning to take to the CS :o I must do it on thursday. That's my next day off.

Please do take stuff to the charity shop! It's win win compared to the tip. They get money for it, someone gets a bargain, and it's environmentally friendly too. Even if the charity shop ends up getting rid of stuff, they are usually things which are damaged or which don't sell for whatever reason. Last year I had some Christmas decorations which I no longer wanted and I popped them in the loft until this September. I then put them in the garage to take to the charity shop and kept not doing it until mid November!! By that time, of course, they were probably just what the shop wanted. If you are a tax payer you can also gift aid your donations and when the items are sold, the charity shop gets extra money from the taxman without it costing you anything. And the more people who give to charity shops, the more exciting bargains there are for those of us addicted to them!
