Have we had confirmations of anything else please?

I used the Lindt gold box (£5) as the trigger.

The best way to understand all of this is to read the first page and then the majority of the thread. Then maybe copy a shop someone else has done. hth0 -
Evening lovelies, trust you are all fighting fit, lol.
Has anyone redeemed the red spotted code yet?
I have two on different emails and wanted to give them to dd2 and his lady who are going to winter wonderland on weds........If he sets up an account will he have to use the emails the codes are on, I am a tad worried how it will work, or shall I just bite the bullet and book??
Hi
Don't know what should or shouldn't be happening, but DD and I donated our codes to DS, and he used both ours and his together on one account to order a single ticket, ie 3 x £10 used on the same transaction with no problems.0 -
Thanks to the OP of the vests and boxers, we found our first 4p items :T
I love these new scannersalthough that's 3 times we've used them , and 3 times we've had a random check

But I have read the 1st page lol. I am just trying to get my head around the advantage of buying a trigger item from asda and then inputting that receipt into asda apg site.....if I could just get a little tuition with that bit then I am pretty sure I would be able to keep up with the lingo lol. I can understand most of the "code" just that bit I dont understand.
for the chocolate glitch to work, what happens is this...
basically, asda have chocs on offer 3 for £10
if you buy 1x lilly o briens and 2x cadburys fabulous fingers for £10 plus some cheapo (list on page 1) fillers like onion, sweets, carrot etc etc to get up to 10 items to be safe. (8 is the minimum)
Then when you input your receipt into the price checker, the lilly obriens do not show so the price checker so it sees that you paid £7 for the fabulous fingers and compares them at that price per unit.
plus it also adds a further 10% as you could have bought them cheaper in Sainsburys
HTHIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

and it is only an example dont anyone jump on the prices as my memory is not that good
msm did not see the vinnies so only compared the 2 ff
so you paid £10 in asda for all 3, in a 3 for £10 offer
but
it compared at full price for fingers of £7 each so comparison would be asda £14 somewhere else £6
so ended up getting £8 plus 10% of comparable shop

ok...buying the 2 pink Dove sets worked....heres the apg details v T's
cost me £8 but they compared at full price each...so £4.80 back...each set works out at £1.60 each
2 x ASDA White Potatoes (2.5Kg)£3.00 £3.30
2 x Hovis Medium Sliced Soft White Bread (800g)£2.70 £2.70
1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar£0.10 N/A
1 x Barratt Flumps Mallow Twists£0.10 £0.10
1 x Wham Original Raspberry Flavour Chew Bar (25g)£0.17 £0.20
1 x Chicken Tonight Mildly Spicy Mexican Sauce (500g)£1.00 £1.00
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant White Mice Bar (15g)£0.10 N/A
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Giant Rainbow Buttons Bar (15g)£0.10 N/A
2 x Philadelphia Light with Cadburys Chocolate (160g)£2.00 £1.62
2 x Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering Set£12.00 £8.00
Comparison total (compared products only)£20.97£16.92 - apg total £5.75
Glad it worked. I knew something wasn't quite right on MSM when it appeared as OOS for me, which was news that it might work. Please don't take me as rude if I say I wouldn't have bought the Hovis bread on a comparison vs T, but I'm just striving for an even better shop. Unless you very much prefer Hovis, it seems the Kingsmill Everyday Soft white (800g) would have been better on an A v T shop, at 2 for £2.20 at T, therefore 22p off = £1.98. (Although I would only buy brand bread at a push if it was maximum of 2 for £2 at the rival.) It appears the Wheatfield Bakery soft white is cheaper at 85p, but exclusive to T, and of course may cost more petrol to visit T or may be no T near you. Also the bread may be needed as an 'emergency'.
For £1 bread comparison, I have either the Hovis Soft White 800g as being straight £1 at M or the Warburtons Medium White 800g in 2s vs M's 2 for £2 (but these were the prices up to last Sunday, so may have changed today).
I've also stopped buying White Potatoes from A and currently buying Sains. Basics - although they recently rose in price from 99p (2.5kg) to £1.19. You did well with the Philadelphia (and, of course, absolutely brilliantly on the Dove sets). In the circumstances, the Wham Bar was best bought at T, or at Sains. on a Brand Match comp vs A. I'll move it to my Sains vs A list and next time I'm spending £22.50, using Nectar points built up from searching on Nectar search, Adpoints or overspending on shops vs A or T, I might buy it within an A comp. Yea you lost a penny there, but I can see you need 8 separate items although Haribo Tangfastics at 10p would have saved 8p (even though I'm reluctant to add those due to an 11 for £1 offer elsewhere and the APG, in common with all the price checks, only counts first 10).
If anyone can find the Dove Indulgence Pink Pampering Sets, and buy two, it's far better than the glitch I found. Another end of War and Peace, Vol 15.0 -
