Same thing happened to me. I found it odd that the password hadn't been changed and I hadn't been fraped, but nevertheless changed the password and haven't had any other problems.

My mum went into hospital last Xmas day and was an awful roller coaster in hospital until she finally passed in March. Not looking forward to Xmas but must do my best this year for DD and Dh.
