PS - I wonder if the email is wrong and it should be

    competitions@simplywoodengifts.co.uk

Answer - Farmer Brown??? This is wrong! I have no idea who the imposter is. I must be having a blonde moment.

Yep I tried it and the email is wrong. I have now changed it in my OP. I have emailed the site too.

  • Hi there,

We're glad you entered our little competition - we have nothing against free, which is why we run them in the first place. Of course, we don't particularly like getting spammed with emails when it's obvious no-one has even bothered checking the site itself - for goodness sake - it's NOT FARMER BROWN!!!!! Never was, never will be! Our 4 year old daughter Erin would be most upset if her favourite character was missing.

But the wife likes Martin Lewis and this site is very informative. And Alison did spot an error which led us to spot a few shocking oversights when we had recently updated the site. So filing a dozen or so extra emails - with the wrong answer - wasn't so bad!!

    Hiya everyone

I am sooo sorry - I really thought it was Farmer Brown as he wasn't a clock character! I think I was a bit confused by the question!

Thanks to the lovely woodengifts people - my paediatric ward has lovely wooden gift on its way to them.

Yep I think you are right - I thought maybe it was Farmer Brown as he isn't a clock character and the rest of them are!
