I have 2 ipads, a server and a 42 inch oled flatscreen, in a house worth over 420,000 at last valuation and 58% equity; I am 32. Does this make your head explode?
As i am a greedy so and so, i can't wait for the day the boomers get their comeuppance. Not long now.
The boomers have the common sense not to buy ipads until the next fad comes along.
As a younger boomer, I look forward to spending my final years watching your generation show us how it should be done. Completely correct. Couldn't agree more. That's why quality time with my family means everything, whereas gadgets are purely a tool to get things done. Ipad incidentally for me is the biggest business enabler since the laptop was invented.0 -

That's why I bought the gen 2 tax free in the us when the gen3 came out. If you could buy stuff for 2/3 the price in the uk, I bet you would if you needed it anyway.0 -

I agree its most sensible to buy things you want at cheaper foreign prices when the opportunity arises especiially if someone else has paid for you go there. Certainly have done it myself!Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment.
