Aldi sell tuna in brine for 57p per tin, normal price. It's just as good as John West, i buy it every week.0

Has anyone tried the Smart Price tuna? It's about 50p a tin.
I looked at the info on the tin and the ingredient is 'Skipjack' tuna, as opposed to Tuna (fish) on the dearer tins. Anyone know the difference?0 -

Empty shelf, but I saw about 6 boxes waiting to be packed on the shelf. By the time they put them out I doubt I'd be lucky to get any. Will check back in the morning hopefully. You are 48% tight

You could be right there - I have just checked the weight of the old tins of Princes I have in my store cupboard (185g) against the newer tins of John West also in there and that is only 160g. So, yes, I guess we will be seeing smaller cans of Princes when it's back on the shelves, bringing it down to John West weight!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
