Microsoft Office 2007 Trial

I don't think this has been posted before so here I go..

I was looking on google for Office 2007 and come across Microsoft's official site for it. I clicked on trial and it gives you a 30 day trial of it. I looked a bit further and found a 60 day trial.
The link for it is http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/suites/FX101677751033.aspx
Click on the Office 2007 suite you want and click on free trial

Thanks :rotfl:

Our NHS Trust has one benefit in that you can buy Office 2007 for only £17. Maybe other Trusts around the country offer similar perks like ours. Worth finding out about.

I was gonna get that but I'm leaving the NHS this week and you can only legally use it for the time you work for them so I might as well carry on with my 'borrowed' version :o

This has been done on other threads. Anyone working working for the NHS can get a copy of MS Office 2007 for only the postage of £17. Once you receive it it belongs to you, I have never heard of any clause that would require you to give it back.
Not exactly free, and only available to limited numbers, but as an NHS IT Manager I have a copy and would highly recommend it to anyone else in a position to take advantage of the offer.
  • i can't seem to download it :(
i get to the download page, then it says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
    can anyone help please?

I'm using 2007 at home. Sent some saved files to work who use 2003 so I couldn't open them. You have to either save them as Word 97-2003 files in Office 2007 or download the 27.1mb converter file from M$. As we are not able to install our own software at work I had to come home and re-save them in the 97-2003 format. It takes some gettings used to the new layout too.

In case you are not already aware, you can set the Office 2007 programs to create files in the old 2003 formats by default, if you find it more convenient to work with 2003 format files.

For example, in Word 2007, click the top left Office button and select Word Options on the drop down menu. On the Word Options window, click Save, and the top item is 'Save files in this format'. Click the down arrow, and select 'Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)'. Click OK.
