Have you tried removing the pipes and washing them through. I used the hose outside and I was pleased I did. Resorted to this with my last machine, yak, it was disgusting and must have been going back into the machine as was so clogged is all I could think as that solved it.

I had a washing machine that made clothes smell...turned out to be a rotting rubber seal...ended up buying a new machine as nothing would stop the clothes smelling musty.

I've used bleach in the machine - oops :) But I would say if you try everything else and it doesn't work you won't have much to lose.

The other thing is you could try leaving your machine open between washes to let it air...
  • try cleaning out the filter. it gets blocked with soam scum and debris-mine was smelly a few weeks back and i found twigs:o , hairgrips, hair bobbles, hair, soap scum and gawd knows what else in there, almost blocking pipes. then put it on high temp wash with soda crystals and is fine now!!!:D
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most..... ;)

    hi there
I had the same problem a while back...pour vinegar into your drawer (bog standard will do)...put your washer on a boil wash and when it is done just run a normal wash through it again to make sure the smell of vinegar has gone..you can stick teatowels and dusters in if you dont want to run it empty again :-)

    My washer now smells lovely!!!
