Really down at the moment :(

Havent been around for a while, been really down, hounded with debt collection agencys, debt has gone up and not down through no fault of my own. It was also a good friends birthday last week and for 4 months Id saved £10 a month so I could go out. Had £40, my debit card, my driving license in my bag and my bag got stolen that night, the money I had saved, my card and my driving license which I am yet to get as it costs £20 which I just havent got :( Christmas coming up and I only need to buy presents for 3 people but I have limited this to £15 for all presents. :( Just such a down and rubbish month so far :(

How awful about your bag thats enough to make anyone down nevermind the other stuff, but look at it this was atleast you havnet lost that £40 like you would have if it had on been cash.

Will be be seeing the 3 people you need presents for on xmas day or after? if after you can pick nice things up in the sales, If not you could try something like skittles vodka or a hamper for the wow factor, or you could upcycle some old gifts of your own if you have any.

  • So sorry to hear this, it was quite sad to read as I imagine so many of us can identify with how you are feeling, most of us have been there at some point.

Try and put that horrible incident behind you and find something to look forward to. Who are the 3 people you need to buy presents for - close family/friends? Do they know you are in a tight financial situation? If so, maybe they would be just as happy spending some time with you over xmas if they knew it meant you were leaving yourself short.
  • :( sorry to hear your feeling this way at the moment,im sure things will start getting better soon:)i find it helps me reading peoples diaries and have come to realise that i am not the only one in debt:)i used to feel so sad myself about what possition i had got myself into but i must say i have joined a lot of challenges on here and i feel a lot more positive about my debt free journey.
