Hi just to say I don't get along with SH products either but I was given Nailtique formula 2 for my birthday and it is fantastic!! My nails peel and break easily started using this every day and absolutely fantastic. I can even be my normal clumsy self and knock my hand against something without worrying about my nails getting damaged. Highly recommend it - they do 3 formulas depending on nail type. It's not cheap about £15 a bottle I think but well worth it. HTH
  • I actually came across this deal by accident at the beginning of the week after browsing through the cosmetic areas on Sainsbury's site... Ordered 10 bottles at 10p each thinking it would be a brilliant deal, only to find out when the delivery arrived tonight that they had substituted them for an £8 a bottle alternative upon delivery! Thankfully I thought to check my bill before the guy left and noticed it was waaayyy over what I was expecting it to be! It was my first shop with Sainsbury's as I've always previously used Tesco's, who price-match their substitutes to the original purchased price, I didn't realise that Sainsbury's didn't offer the same service, so needless to say I sent them all back for a refund!

Was worth a go though! :)

Strange you should say that, I've been trying to grow my nails (I'm a biter :o) and was doing really well until I stared using Sally Hanson Hard As Nails and they all started going flakey and splitting. The temptation to just 'even them up a little' was too muich so I've had to start growing them all over again. Think I'll avoid SH from now on and see how I do.

Hi, I'm a biter/ex-biter too - the thing that saved me was Opi Nail Envy - not cheap at £18 a bottle but amazing stuff! Paint one coat on per day for 5 days, take it off then start again. So strong nails - certainly helps me because the only way I don't bite/break them is if they're painted (even if it is clear!) xx
