Fuel card and self assessment

I need to check i have got this right for my self assessment:
I have a fuel card from the company I work for (covering both private and business petrol).
If I bought, say, £1000 of fuel in the last tax year using my fuel card then presumably the amount I have to state in my tax return will be the full £1000 - as per in my P11D as a taxable benefit.
My question is if I only did 100 business miles (the rest was either personal or to/from main place of work) then where and how do I claim these 100 business miles? Do I simply claim them like any other business miles (45p for any business miles under 10,000) on my self assessment form? - note I didn't claim any of these 100 miles from my employer.
Thanks

Can you confirm if you have a company car, or is the fuel card to put fuel into a car you own personally?0

It's a private car.

As its your own car, you are correct you declare the full benefit of £1,000 and claim business travel and subsistence expenses £45 (box 17 on form SA102).0
