Ok, sounds like 22nd should be ok. I have no intention at all in going to any shop or supermarket on 23rd and 24th

    Me neither that's a dead cert !

i sha't be set[ing foot in a supermarket after 21st if I can help it - have been buying bits and peices as I go in aldi have canberries, crumbed bread, sausages, bacon and sausage meat already in freezer, have nibbles and treats too.

This week will get baking stuff, cream and eggs for ice cream. Next weekend will be normal shop then 21st will be veg, turkey and ham. Hubby can pop to local shop if we realise there is anytign we desperately need!

I'm doing it all in aldi bar a few spices I have run out of whcih will come from indian store and poss asda for crackers and sellotape!

Usually get a £25 m&s voucher from work which wil buy more booze but if not have prosecco, gin, rum in and will get abottle of something decent from aldi

24th is always one of the best days of the year for reductions. I try to run down my freezer in the couple of weeks before and then do a round of all my local supermarkets about 2 hours before closing and end up with a full freezer again.
  • Last year all the turkeys where dated for boxingday so they didnt reduce them in our local tesco or sainsburys on christmas eve so we had chicken which the kids loved because they like chicken they would eat it 7 days a week if i let them
