Which hotel in Glasgow did you manage to book? The ones I tried weren't available at that rate for my dates and I tried several.
You do need to be quick and a little lucky, didn't do as well as last year but happy with my deals this time - it is a great price.
Try a few other searches (Belfast) as it will be hard to beat these prices for a quality hotel if you can find somewhere to suit you.
Got Old Years night last year but not as lucky this time. But hey £20 is cheaper than a taxi home in our case. :rotfl:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

Couldn't get the hotel I wanted but saw quite a few £20.12 rooms available at London Stratford for late December and January. Great for the sales as it's located at the Westfield shopping centre.0

Can't find many of the hotels doing the deal and the ones that are don't do the deal as soon as you add on a kid.
Bit naff
Don't add the kid, it usually messes up special room prices.
Buy yourself a blow up bed for £10-320 at Argos and pump it up/lay in the bedroom. Your kid will love the fact they are "camping out", makes the hotel stay more fun.
http://www.myinflatables.co.uk/products.asp?recnumber=198 £15 includes electric pump. Hotels always have spare pillow and you can always call down for more, roll up your kids favourite duvet cover. Sorted.
I use the Village Hotels for stays and they charge an extra £20-£30 soon as you add a child as they quote 'family rooms', so I just book for two, blow up bed and sorted, all for the discounted price. Rooms are all the same size.
This is a money saving site after all.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

Thanks so much for this. We logged in at midnight and booked a family room in Guildford Holiday Inn. We are going for a wedding and the special wedding rate quoted was £99 for a double room which was too expensive for us, so I am chuffed.
It does say somewhere in Holiday Inn's Terms that you need to tell them at the time of booking if children will be staying in the room, but that there should be no extra cost for up to 2 under 18s.0 -
Thanks for the heads up yesterday OP :beer:I was on at midnight and booked the kensington forum for a night of R&R at the end of January :T:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0

I have just booked a room in Glasgow for 2 nights. Room has two queen beds and we have 4 kids ( 2 children, 1 infant and a baby). Really hoping for us all to be in one room - do you think this will be a prob? Should I ask them or just turn up and hope they don't say anything? Really don't want to pay for 2 rooms as we would not use the other one and would all end up in together anyway.0
