    I'd be more suprized if it wasn't.

    Then again, people are paying more in tax, losing more in terms of financial assistant (eg low paid getting tax credits, child benefit, disability benefits...etc) yet apparently the government is borrowing more so the money's going into someones pockets, I'm wondering when they're going to launch their spending spree (perhaps they're holding off for when they're out of parliment...)

    £80 spent on my Grand daughters presents and that is it , my total spend for this Christmas !
  • I Have been cutting back every year for the last few years, but this year...it is really going to be a very basic christmas....

    Even the pressies I have bought, or buying has to be practical, no silly novelty/gimmick stocking fillers... which lets face it are a waste of money...

    Hubby is having a set of rods to clean the chimnley, as he broke our old aged ones:rotfl:
