Strawberry Father Christmases

Don't know if this has been posted already (apologies if it has) but it popped up on my facebook the other day and was so cute I had to share!

They are so easy to make too - whipped cream, strawberries and seeds/choc chips for the eyes. The only thing is I want to make these to take to work and am not sure if the whipped cream will melt on the way (I don't fancy making them in the kitchen...)

What a lovely idea, thank you. What about transporting them in a cool box to work? You could have ice packs underneath and round the sides of whatever container you put them in.

Wouldn't it be lovely to have a tray of these with some sparkling wine, to share with friends over the festive period.
  • Those are cute, but I am not sure either how long the cream would stay in place.

Lovely, simple idea though. Think I will do a practise run to see if they work as they would be lovely for my party buffet!

The canned whipped cream won't last but ordinary whipped cream should be ok. HTH

How about using meringue instead of cream?

  • I was thinking similar, maybe use white marshmallows or something a bit more long lasting as an alternative.

  • Aw, they are adorable things and probably taste amazing too.
  • Aw they're cute!

Could you not cut the strawberrys so they're all ready and take a can of cream to work with you? A couple of scooshes and you're done!
