Hello Velocity girl - it's lovely to have 'visitors'. been ages since anyone popped in - i think everyone got disgusted with me when we increased our mortgage, then bought the moneypit that is Bella the campervan! Do you have a diary?

We renogiated a better deal with BT this week - cheaper and got catchup TV for the first time, which is fabulous and will save us a fortune on boxsets. I also got cashback for signing up to my credit report, but have to remember to cancel it before the end of the month.

Still not touched any booze this year - but managed to put on 4lbs since christmas :( obviously replacing my drinks with crisps is not the healthy option. But that weird stabbing pain in my liver has gone :o

paid in another £27.18 today from a round up of accounts and some topcashback.

Looked into remortgaging, we are on 2.5% so could fix on a slightly lower interest rate, but would loose the facility to overpay by as much which is putting me off a bit. not sure what to do?

    still not sure about remortgage.

We have freinds staying this weekend so planning a big meal for tonight then maybe go out for breakfast tomorrow morning. OH won £ 50 on a scrathcard so we can use that for shopping. We have signed up for a week in new york at the end of the year so will have to start saving for that too - as well as a boiler and new window seals for Bella. Good thing i have done 36 hours overtime this month, will just bank that next week.

didn't get paid till this morning which threw my budgeting out a bit, hope I have left enough to live on, but have met our savings target for new york flights and almost saved enough for the new boiler - it has started working perfectly again, so will squeeze another few months from it. Our total is now 82,277.

Not much on this month, we have signed up for another block of 6 dance lessons which start tonight. Got a wedding next weekend that hotel and outfits paid for, will need a meal out and drink money. Mother's day and our wedding annviersary this month - no trips to vegas this year! OH still fighting with the window seals on the VW so cannot progress much on it until they are done, then it will need a bit spent on it. Dissartation due in 4 weeks :eek:, guess what i will be doing in my spare time?

Our wedding anniversary today, 27 years! Can't believe it's 2 years since we were in Vegas renewing our vows. Anyway, paid in £59.11 today bringing our total to 82,200.

But have paid for our flights to new york in December, my freind got us a good deal and we are all booked together so thats all that overtime money gone - it will be worth it, really looking forward to it.

DD has packed in her overseas job, so will be staying at home this summer which means we can holiday wherever we like for the first time in 5 years. :T Also means we get a bit more rent off her and that usually gets overpaid.

Another mad, silly month working extra before the end of our working year - and my dissertation due the first week in April, it will all go flat after that. I am quite enjoying the stress and loving the extra wages, but am getting tired. Glad i don't work at this pace all the time as I would burn out. I have only managed because it was time limited.

New York feels like a long time away to be honest. Our new manager has ran the payroll this month without paying me my overtime, so am pretty annoyed at that. Will get it at the end of April instead. However, i have 5 months expenses to claim so will do that instead and that will give us some spending cash for next month. Off to a residental dance weekend over easter and was hoping to have a few days in London, but won't be able to afford that now. At least the weekend is paid for, so can still go to that.
