DAB Radio Alarm Clock

Our alarm clock went mad and sounded a bit like a dalek this morning. It wouldn't turn off, and even when I switched it off at the mains it took ages to die!

Anyway, this now means that I am after a new one and I fancy one that has DAB.

I have had a look around and something like the Pure Chronos (although it may be a bit expensive), or this one from Acoustic Solutions seem to fit the bill. It seems like a good price anyway.

Any other suggestions out there? I would be happy to consider a regular dab radio set if it has an alarm.

  • I went for the Pure Bug Too as it is reduced to £60 in Comet (The cheaperst is around £80 online!). I actually got the display model, so it was discounted to £54 (it also meant I could have a good play with it before buying it). It has some fantastic functions and was only a few quid more tha some of the ones I was looking at (although it was a bit over my budget).

If you have a Makro card they have the Pure Tempus 1 at £49.99+vat. (It definately is a Tempus- the price surprised me)

If you dont have a Makro card morgan computers often have some good graded or refurb stock.

  • Thanks for all of your replies, but I already bought the Bug Too! There were some cheaper ones, but I was after one with usb so it can be upgraded in the future.

Do not buy it for that much as it is not worth it.... I bought mine from superdrug for £11...... As they were discontinued..... Although mine is faulty and keeps crashing...... Got to try andask the company to replace it for me since superdrug won't since they don't have any left....

Look at post 2 - you can see where from and how much. I am really pleased with it so far!
