I usually do a stall at the local children's centre each year at Xmas.. Said this year I couldn't do it due to going away for Xmas and not having the time... Well seems like they have been let down by many and have begged me to help them out so I really need your help....
I need something simple and easy to make to sell for this friday  so my question is do you guys have any ideas what I can do.. My mind is at a blank and as I have only one day to sort something I'm starting to panic.. Please help xxx

What's your budget? Do you keep a percentage of the money made for your expenses? How long have you got tomorrow? Are you thinking of cakes/biscuits? Or has it got to be crafty? What do you usually do?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Any profit will go to the children's centre.. I usually make stockings and personalised tree decorations but there's no way ill have time to do them this year, =(0

Ok, I'd do some tray bakes, Twink's Hob nobs in a few flavours [cranberry and choc I particularly like adding, one with peanuts and almonds my OH likes], and some deep muffins [Nigella's recipe is failsafe].If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Flannel reindeers are super quick, useful and easy to make - I live in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere yet we can still manage to buy soap and flannels as well as pipe cleaners although not always glitzy ones... Youre sure start is guaranteed to have googley eyes!!
Any of the bags of Reindeer poop like stuff is also easy and effective!
or those wooden plaque things with inspirational messsages on - only need neat handwriting and pretty ribbons
Oh we are doing heart button canvases... Im obsessed with buttons and seem to be covering everything in buttons - i got additional stash from the charity shop - we have button covered frames, mirrors, candle sticks and boxes (also sourced for pennies from charity shop)0 -
if you can sew there was a great tutorial somewhere on here to make tissue holders, it looked fairly simple and you could buy a big pack of multipack tissues from the supermarket to put in them? if you set up a production line it shouldnt take too long to make a decent amount? good luck with it whatever you do though!Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -

You sound like you're a crafty type person (who might have craft bits lying around) so I'm going to suggest candy cane reindeer and stamped candles.
The reindeer I'm thinking of are those ones with brown pipecleaner antlers, googly eyes and red pompom noses (plus a hanging loop if it's a tree decoration). As per this explanation: http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/christmas-food-crafts8.htm
Stamped candles require ink stamps and a hairdryer (neither of which I have, alas). There's a nice photo explanation here: http://thepolkadotcloset.blogspot.co.uk/2011/08/how-to-stamp-candles.html (Wax paper is "American" for greaseproof paper, btw.)
These should be very fast to make. The reindeer will look fun (kids) and the candles will look expensive (moms).
Good luck and thumbs up for stepping into the breach at short notice!0 -
what about filled mugs? You can get them from the charity shops really cheap, fill with sweeties, HM biscuits or a cheap flannel & bar of soap & put into cellophane bags that you can get from Poundland & finished off with curling ribbon.0

Snowman soup (hot choc, marshmallows and candy cane stirrer) in cellophane bags/cones would be quick and easy.
Also candy cane reindeer? (2 candy canes tied together with brown pipe cleaners at the top and googley eyes and a red pom pom for the face, the candy cane hooks face outwards for antlers) 'They only had one cow!'0 -
