Photo Canvas

Hi,

I'm hoping to get a photo canvas for my OH for christmas, I have the photo but need somewhere to do the canvas bit.

I have around £50 budget, I'd like A2 size, my OH is very particular and has a very good eye for things like this so my question is do you know a good place to get this done?

  • I have ordered from a place on Facebook. They do offers all the time. I got 3 a4 for £9.95 and that included delivery. The last date for Christmas delivery is 10th December.

    The page is Designs-4-U
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
  • Thanks for the idea but i don't have facebook.

I use All Posters and have excellent pictures, I recently did a normal image taken on holiday and made into a 46 x 61 cm picture and was more than impressed at the result. Brilliant clear crisp image and no distortion.
My daughter thinks picture is lovely (taken art Machu Picchu a few years ago) and so I have had another done for them (her & Hubby) for Christmas.

They might not be as cheap as some other places but it really depends on the quality you want. The size you want is around £45 (today they have 25% off but they often have offers and as one ends another starts. You should get delivery in plenty of time for Christmas) http://www.allposters.co.uk/
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

Brilliant idea... yo have me thinking now.
  • We've had a few from here: http://www.catchincolour.co.uk/

The quality is excellent. You also get a discount if you're a costco member (go on the site via the costco website).

We've also used this firm http://www.printerpix.co.uk/ - very nice.. not quite as good I think but I was using a scanned 10x8 photo rather than an original digital camera file.

    .

I would second this. I've now had 2 perspex prints from them which are just stunning. They were from photos my husband had taken on holiday and the results are amazing.

I think the Costco disount is 25% however they sometimes have more off. I had an email recently where they had 40-50% off for a limited time.

The key thing I've noticed about these guys is the stunning resolution they print out at, compared to other canvases. Their delivery service is good, and if you need it in a rush they're very good about prioritising your canvas

The last one they made had the wrong borders on it.. so phoned them up and with no arguments they sent us a new one and took the old one back.
