Did anyone else see this yesterday? I found the discussion with Paxman, Gillian Tett (FT), Ellissa Bayer (Investec) & Claire McNeil (IPPR) really quite depressingly stark. A fair bit of the discussion turned to how democracy was failing to produce leaders with the necessary skills, or indeed long term view, to run the economy and make sound economic choices.
Similarly the brief interview with Andrew Lillco was quite indicative of the mess we're in: the message being that whatever happens, it will be toxic for the chancellor.
