I have now decided there are just not enough months in the year!:rotfl:
So far I have:
A trip to the cinema for a silly girly film
Roast & Ramble at a nearby Nation Trust Property
Cream Tea/Afternoon Tea (lots of venues to choose from)
An evening of pampering the night before my wedding
My hen night
A Gardens day out - lots around here
Fish, Chips and crazy golf at the seaside
Vineyard open day with best of Kent produce and tasting
Trip to the theatre for a musical
And that leaves me some spaces for her own suggestions or other things that comes up! I am going to start downloading some information packs about local venues etc and put it all together in a nice diary

^^^^ I second this, if you can afford it (not cheap). Get joint membership and use it.Katiehound wrote: »As you have quite a lot of National trust properties locally would it be worth buying an annual membership? Then you could have a NT day each month- maybe as well as the others......or perhaps that one could be a birthday present.NT have special event days I think (sorry I'm not too clued up as very few properties in my area.)Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Am tempted with the NT membership I have to admit!
Managed to get some really cheap tickets to the Shrek Musical thanks to a poster on here so that's scheduled for the 1st of Feb :T.
Am still busy collating ideas for the other months!

It sounds like you are doing really well. I think it will be a really special 'one off' present except of course it is going to last through out the year!
Hope you both have a lot of fun .
I see that with NT membership at the moment there are 3 months free- think that is by DD. However if you aren't planning to go to a property at the start of the year maybe buy it later....and spread the visits into 2014?!!!!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
