Not a very inspiring thread, I know, but we are thinking of having a family get-together, in the autumn as we don't seem to get together as an extended family - the only time we seem to do this is hatches/matches and dispatches - which in our family does not happen that often!
So, as it's my birthday in Oct and our 15th wedd. ann., and a lot of our relatives are elderly and may not be with us for many years to come, i thought that that it would be good to have an evening together.
This will be for about 50 people (some of whom we are not that 'close' to) mixed ages. We thought about hiring a village hall an having a pie and pea supper type thing - any ideas? Does this sound feasible, and if so, any ideas appreciated.:T
