Help Re. Working/Driving hours

I mean your rest between your working days as below.

‘Daily rest’

Workers have the right to 11 hours rest between working days (eg if they finish work at 8pm, they shouldn’t start work again until 7am the next day).
‘Weekly rest’

Workers have the right to an uninterrupted 24 hours without any work each week or 48 hours each fortnight

Ah, sorry for the misunderstanding.

If we arrive back at midnight I could start the next day at 8-00am if I wanted to do so for some over time or I tell them what time I will be starting. Usually 11am for a midnight finish. I like my sleep. So no real worries there, especially as we don't usually have any driving to do the day following our late night.

Although I must say it was me that told my boss that I was entitled to come in late otherwise they'd have been expecting me in at 8-00 as normal!
