So I've made myself a little debt diary so that I can look back and see the good days through the cloud of all of the bad money grabbing ones!
Myself and my man want to get the debt cleared so we can move into a place of our own (or at least partly own - we're not in a position to be fussy!).
Without doing extremely precise calculations, we estimate that it will be 2 years to pay off the debt (~£12000) and then 3 years to get a deposit together (~£20000).
By that time I will no longer be a student (just at the beginning of a 4 year degree) and BF credit history will be clear. We will both be 32 and finally able to start our much yearned for family - and if that isn't enough of an incentive I don't know what is!
