Wedding Insurance - and flooding

Is it too late to get wedding insurance for a March wedding where the venue has already had to shut a couple of times for flooding?

Do any insurers cover closure due to flood? I see John Lewis cover certain disease conditions, hinting at the foot and mouth problem 10 years ago, and damaged venue, but what if the venue is not damaged but just inaccessible ...?

I think that if you already know that your venue is prone to flooding and you have also paid a deposit you would not get insurance for this.

I would check individual policies as to what is and isn't covered.

However if you have already paid the deposit it is unlikely the insurance will cover anyway. If you haven't paid the deposit then I really think it's a possibility.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
