offset interest against tax - remortgage

Options
Hi,

New to forum and after some advice.

I have a number of properties that I let out. I used repayment mortgages and I have offset interest against tax for them. I am close to paying them off and want to remortgage, to no more than original buy price, and use the money for my own needs (not to fund more property purchases).

My question? Can I remortgage to the purchase prices of my houses and offset interest against tax(again)? I want to do this rather than sell and buy again.
