Problem with Homebase is they always say its 50% off, but they were never on sale for the full price anyway. Its IMO dishonest marketing.0

I've had a price check.., and £49.99 is very good for a 6ft fibre optic tree. It'll replace the one I've been using for years that threatens to topple over because of a broken base.
I'll check the quality when I go to pick it up later on today.
UPDATE: I whole heartedly apologise. In my nievete I expected the Xmas tree they had on their website to be what I was supposed to collect. Nice thick branches etc.., like the tree I wanted to replace.
I'm sure it had the same number of branches .., but the tree itself was in need of feeding up (yes its artificial).., the branches were about 1cm and a half thick, maybe two if you're being general.., and that's including the green bits. Quite astonishing in its sparcity.
Very glad I checked before I paid for it. Wouldn't have paid £20 for it!0 -

I'd like to say thank you to Homebase for saying "Below half price" - that new "better than half price" drives me mad! it's less than, better than just sounds wrong.
Cute too

Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
Shame most of it is oos for ordering online, but perhaps they will have a better selection instore?0

I've just got back from buying a 7ft artificial tree for £29.99 but I used some Nectar points to get it for £19.99.
I've now got to go and buy some more lights as the ones I have won't cover the tree completely - also some more baubles!
I didn't think Homebase had as much Xmas stuff in as they had last year - I usually go there a couple of days before Xmas and fill my boots - don't think I'll be doing that this year.0 -
On homebase website, 20% code of lights0
