I have recently found out that i have a ccj registered against me that i knew nothing about. I was thinking about applying for a shared ownership mortgage. Would that be possible with one ccj (that will be settled before i apply) and some defaults? Thanks

It depends on the loan to value.
Do you have any deposit?
How much is the property?
See a good whole of market mortgage adviser and it should not be a big problem.
