A massive Thank You

I just thought I would write to say a massive thank you! I've been looking on here for a while trying to sort out my debts and reading other people's stories made me realise that it could be done. After burying my head in the sand and refusing to open my mail I knew something had to be done and you might not realise it but you've all helped! I know look for discount codes when I buy on line and have started a rae at work to see whos free stuff gets delivered 1st. But I think the main thing is that you have shown me that it can be done. I only have one question and that is with the thing about re-claiming fees from the credit cards and banks, how do i do it? Half my credit card bill is fees, 1 set for missed payments and the other because the missed payments fees took me over the limit? Thank you so much for all your help and support and I hope that I will post on here when I'm debt free, which by the snowball thing is sometime in 2010.
Thanks

Hi there, and well done on the progress so far.
There is a forum/board on this site called "reclaiming your bank charges" - have a quick whizz over there and you will find all the templates for letters you need, plus loads of people who are either going through or have been through the whole thing!

I will keep posting, I managed to spend the who day reading snuggles thread start to finish, all 30+ pages i have an understanding boss! It was that that made me realise, its just me. I'm only about 2100 in debt not including my student loan and its only me I have to support. I plan to be debt free in a few months so I can buy a house/flat which made me realise I need to sort it out. Living in the most expensive place in the country doesnt help though!
Cheers for the thing about the credit cards.
Take care
