Looking to buy oh a 'good' bridge camera. I've only got up to £200 to spend but see Boots have a sale on some of their Bridge cameras. Fuji s4500 down from £170 to £145 and olympus sp-720uz down from £199.99 to £139.99(this offer finishes today - hence its in the grabbits). Both look great to me but can anyone tell me which would be the best to go for? Thanks in advance!

This one from the Fuji Shop.

Yes its a refurb, but you get 12 months guarantee, take out a warranty to give you backup and your laughing. This was the top of the Fuji bridge line recently and is much better than the S4500. Just having the Manual zoom, rather than a battery operated one is awesome, maing for much faster zooming (that doesn't drain batteries) and this camera will do everything that you will need a camera to do, with near DSLR like quality.0 -

Yes big difference, ONce the battery is dead on the olympus, you need to recharge it or put in another olympus specific battery.
WIth AA's you can buy a set of rechargable to be green, but if your in need of power you can stick any AA's in that you can buy anywhere in the world, so much more flexible.0 -
