Tesco till error

Hope this helps others. Shopped at Tesco this morning (Monday 3 December 2012) and bought several special offers on fresh fruit/veg. So Blackberries buy 2 for £3, blueberries, strawberries, asparagus all similar. Also Apricot punnet £3 now £2. Paid and only at home noticed the discount for buying 2 had not been given. Just back from my trip back to Tesco where I was told this was a national error and only just (at 2.30 pm) corrected on the tills. Up until then the prices were not discounted.
Please check your bill to see you paid the right price and if not go back. They know about the problem and you get the original discount doubled for your inconvenience. So I got over £9 back.
I always assumed the tills were correctly programmed - that will teach me to check before I go home!
