ACER 19" TFT from Comet

Can anyone say whether this monitor from Comet is a good buy, spec and pricewise. Thanks. If not, what about the few other ones they offer, 17" too. Mine died and want to get one today!

Thanks mate - I have spun around those sites before, umming & errring, you know how it goes! So, today, eventually, I opted against the 19" and went with the 17" Acer AL1714MS for £149.99 (Comet instore).

One less thing to think about and read reams of pages on at forums such as this!


UPDATE: Can anyone please tell me if the AL1714 is a digital or analog TFT, if it is the latter, then I shouldn't run Cleartype.

I am also looking to return this monitor - unhappy with the display. Can anyone recommend a good 17" LCD, unsure whether to go for DVI or not.
