HSBC approved solicitors in Scotland?

Hi there,
Does anyone know who the HSBC-approved solicitors are in Scotland? My understanding from various internet sources is that there are only four, but I can't find the names anywhere.
I have spoken to four different people at HSBC this morning to ask this question, all of whom told me I had rung the wrong number and had to speak to someone else and I am now back at the original number I rang in the first place. Slightly frustrated!
Also, if anyone has used the HSBC approved solicitor for buying a house recently, what were the fees? (I know if you use your own solr it's £192 on top, but I'm wondering about using their solr for the whole thing to save hassle)
Have seen a house I want but there are other people interested in it and scared it will go before I can get everything sorted out!
All advice welcome, please!
Thanks.
H
