Any ideas of good/cheap stocking fillers for my bf 13 year old daughter - and his?

Hi
As with everyone, we're trying to be really careful this year, and I want to try and find some really nice bits for my bf's daughter, and also some nice things for him.
My family's easy, we do a Secret Santa, and have the whole thing budgeted now with set £40 / £10 / £5 gifts, means that I cover my Mum/3 brothers/3 wags / 2 nephews all for £65...!
Not having any children, I'm at a bit of a loss. I spoke with her yesterday, and she says she doesn't know what she wants...makeup maybe?
Any thoughts please??
Thanks
J

What's your budget?
I'd recommend checking with your bf that makeup is ok if she is only 13. Some parents are ok with it, some not so.
I've had same problem with OH DD1 2 and 3 too!!!
DD1 is 17 so makeup is perfect. DD2 is 15 and I got her the Benefit b.right kit, although I think it's sold out on their website now. DD3 is 12 and I was stuck. She picked out a Nicky Clarke butterfly hairdryer from Argos which is perfect!! (£6 off at the minute)Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
It depends what type of girl she is! When I was that age I wasn't very girly so I would've loved puzzles, stationary, action figures etc, I was kinda geeky! So I probably wouldn't have appreciated make-up at that age, but I understand kids these days are much more into stuff like that, so she may well love to receive make-up. If you don't know her well then obviously try and spend some time with her and try And get some ideas about what kind of stuff she's into. She might like well-known brands like Hello Kitty, etc. But always best to make sure and get a rough idea of what kinda stuff she likes.

I've got a 14 year old sister, so here are some of the littler things I've picked up for her this year:
Penguin lip balm - Peacocks £1.60
Nail polish set - New Look £4.49
Little owl post-its - Paperchase £3
Owl gloves - Primark £2
Chocolate hand cream - Superdrug 99p
Pink tweezers - Superdrug £1.99
And some chocolate of course. She also really enjoys art, so I've picked her up a few things related to that - sketch pad, pastels, mini canvasses and a book about how to draw manga style. And, sadly, she requested a One Direction CD...0 -
I'd think about what kind of girl is she. Girly? tomboy? arty? booky?
I would say Paperchase do really nice stationary/umbrellas/phone cases.etc
Chocolate is always a good option too.0 -
When OHs daughter was 13 we did her a pampering hamper rather than a stocking. She wanted makeup for xmas but OH wasn't too sure, he didn't mind some lip gloss, nail varnish, and eye shadow but mascara, eyeliner and bronzer were a bit old for her.
I got her some bright nail polishes, a set of three lipgloss, bright eyeshadow set, nail art set (had some nail stamps, stickers, base layer and top coat). I got her some makeup brushes, some cotton wool balls, nail varnish remover, head band, cleanser, moisturiser, face masks (6 of the £1 ones that were buy two get one free).
There were some other bits and pieces but can't remember what else. She loved it and I think overall it came to around £250
