John Wright Free Range Bronze Turkey £20 off selected weights

in Gone off!
If anyone is still looking for a turkey, John Wright has an excess of 8kg and 9kg birds and is selling them cheap. I emailed to ask the reason that the birds were reduced in price (it seemed too good to be true) and he said they just have too many of those particular weights this year. I suppose you can't guarantee how big a turkey will grow - not that I know anything about them other than how to cook one! :rotfl:
An 8kg free range bronze is reduced from £68.48 to £47.97
9kg free range bronze is reduced from £72 to £54
You can collect from the farm for free or delivery is £20 for a boxed, oven-ready bird delivered on December 21st.
Website is HERE but you order from a farmers' cooperative site HERE Big Barn.co.uk
I haven't tried a turkey from here before but have ordered an 8kg just because of the price! We won a 6kg Franklins of Thorncote turkey last year but to buy it this year would cost nearly £90 including delivery and we just can't afford that.
The John Wright turkeys are free range and meet exacting welfare standards etc so hopefully should be good but I'm not taking any blame if they're not!. You can see more details HERE but if anyone has tried one before could you tell us whether it was okay or not?
I realise this is not exactly a super-cheap grabbit but it might help someone looking for a turkey that wants to save some money. :xmastree:

Replying not because of the deal but because of your brilliant signature. Well done, I've seen this mistake so many times and it really annoys me too!0
