Can I ask anyone who has used the £5 off @ Aldi from last wks Mirror....if you included any of the extra voucher products in the shop and spent like £35.01 would they take the £5 off then also the 50% vouchers?
[hoping that will make sense to regular MOC users lol]0 -

No it doesn't work that way.
Firstly you need to hand over the vouchers at the start as they take each one off as they scan the product. If you don't do it, they have to cancel and restart your transactions!
The items are discounted so your final bill will include the nett prices so you need to take this into account when you are trying to reach £35. The £5 is taken off the final amount.

I've not used last weeks one yet, but in the past the total has to be min of £35 AFTER the other coupon discounts - they get the coupons before they scan through the shopping, and for each item that matchs a coupon they input a code that effectively reduces the price by 50%/30% off. So the if your total was, eg, £38, then if you saved £3 discounts then they take the £5 off, that's fine - if you get £35 of shopping then if £3 discounts then you couldn't use the £5. Hope that makes sense!!0 -
