Looking for a Christmas tablecloth

Options
I am after a Christmas tablecloth - a washable one rather than plastic/paper. Anyone seen any nice ones at a reasonable price? For a rectangular table rather than a round one.

Thanks.

I've had a few from textiles direct over the last few years. They've washed and ironed well and are reasonably priced. Hth

I got mine from John Lewis last year.
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • We use a plain table cloth (black) and then pretty runners, studio has loads of them

I bought one from Tk Maxx a couple of years ago, very nice and washes well, wasn't very expensive either.

I bought pretty material covered in poinsettia from ebay a few years back - its washable and you can buy the length you want.

I sometimes use a red sheet (doubled over) underneath a lace panel; otherwise a plain white one with a runner down the middle - that way, I can use it for other occasions.
My friend, who has an extremely long table sometimes uses a strip of wallpaper down the middle of hers.
  • Not a tablecloth, but the Christmas table runner in Primark is actually rather lovely (I bought one, and I would never normally buy anything like that) a bargain at only £3. It is white with a red snowflakes & reindeer design, nice and long too.

My friend has a very large rectangular table and she always uses a plain white sheet (kept for table I hasten to add!) By the time it is all laid up for the crowd you can see precious little of the cloth!

Loads around, search Amazon, eBay, John Lewis etc. do a search by size, colour etc.
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
  • Pound shop actually had some in as did the 99p store it just depends on the size of your table. Asda also have some as do TK Max. I've found getting a plain colored one and a pretty runner, place settings cheaper and easier to co-ordinate.

Mine is plain white from asda, runner from the next sale last year, napkins from £1 shop, charger dishes as place settings from £1 shop, coasters sainsburies
