    I was wrong about where the SIPP rebate is paid. It goes into the SIPP, not outside.

    Probably not, although untested and would almost certainly need strong legal advice by a firm looking to do it. The HMRC guide is about intermediation costs. HL is the product provider. Not the intermediary.
