Tubs of Quality street £3.99- Sainsburys

They are the plastic tubs not tins :)

Comments

  • Not only that, they have just stacked masses of QS by the entrance in my local Sainsburys - I thought £3.99 I'll have a couple (won't buy Cad. Roses any more for obvious reasons and Celebrations are yuk!).

Then I CHECKED the weight of the QS!
As soon as I saw 700 odd grams (can't remember exact fig 740 I think) they went straight back on the pile. Con merchants. I'll go without.

Sadly, loads 'will' buy them in haste as they don't have the time nor inclination to check. Fools!

While in Sainsburys, if you want some 'ale', good offer on Carton Greene King - 8 bottles various, inc Old Speck Hen etc @ £14.99 or TWO packs for £18.00!

Ocado has got 2 x Quality Street 350g for £6  The tubs all seem smaller this year. I'm not buying any of them, they aren't even good chocolate.
  • Tesco were doing the tins for £4, so not much of a bargain.

  • I have just checked the tins of Qs against the tubs, and
they are exactly the same, so no different.
