Where's the cheapest place to buy veg oil?

i've just bought the 2 litre crisp'n'dry from asda for 2£ and i personally think it's a good price.0

is there a difference between Crisp n' Dry compared to other oils - blended or with added ingredients?
Looking on the Asda website, it looks like they do KTC veg oil in 5l for £5 so if you're meant to buy in bulk then it'll be easier for storage etc., if you're near an asian/chinese supermarket there are various brands in drum size that you can go for all at cheaper than retail prices. it's what takeaways and other catering businesses use if cooking for the masses.0 -

I have to ask why does a soup kitchen need oil though. If someone with no food really needs to cook something they don't really need oil as anything can be baked, grilled or shallow fried with a bit of butter instead which has many other uses than oil. I always tend to have oil which ends up going rancid after a year as it never gets used so ends up in the bin.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Thank you.
Apparently some of the people they help out need veg oil for cooking. The oil goes into the food parcels btw.
They ask for donations of rice, pasta, tea, coffee, sugar, cereals, noodles etc and one of the items is oil.
I went to Poundworld today and they have 750ml for a quid but the morrisons offer sounds better thanks Edwardia.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000
