Just found this post from Nile tucked in at the end of another thread and thought it deserved a thread of its own
Unfortunately its too far for me to
catch up with them but I know there are a few MSE users further North.
Mr & Mrs Nile will be in the Aviemore/Inverness area during the last week in April. If you see us (at the Chanonry Point water's edge) when we're watching and listening to the dolphins :j :j , say hello. If you'll be in the area and fancy meeting up for a chat, we could arrange a mini meeting.
And another post from Smiley Mum that will point visitors in the direction of the dolpins.
Who was it that was wanting to know about Scottish wildlife and dolphins etc. This place is in North Kessock and there are usually dolphin sightings from there. Worth a look -

I was going to say, I hope Mr & Mrs Nile take plenty winter clothing with them, the weather is freezing here just now. Supposed to be warming up but still freezing compared to the tropical climate of the South. :-) Gloves, hats, scarves the works.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. I am from Aviemore area originally left home to go to college. Keep meaning to do the dolphin thing but to be honest we are only in the area for a Saturday then have to leave again to come home on the Sunday so never have enough time.
I think we will need to be a holiday maker in that area again to do everything we should.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0
