Managed to book myself a slot for the evening of Thursday 20th, quite happy with that. If I can get Fri eve (or even Sat) I will be pleased, but if Thursday is my day that's fine.
Haven't signed up for delivery saver so am VERY surprised that there was anything available when I logged in this morning. They are all gone now though!!!

Have logged in again and there are still loads of slots available for Fridat 21st, ammended it (again) to Friday eve 8-9pm. I live in Stoke-on-Trent/Newcastle-under-Lyme area.
At this rate I could be getting a Sat slot and not even paid upfront for delivery saver!

Yep, I logged on this morning to change mine from an evening to morning delivery (I was worried they'd only deliver half the stuff if things had sold out during the day so I'm hoping that with an 8am-9am slot they'll have stocked up overnight) and found Friday 21st had been added so I've moved mine to then.
I'll check again tomorrow but may well stick with the Friday because then we'll be sorted with food for the pre-Christmas weekend

The availability all depends on when the shop gets their delivery in. Our local store the fresh delivery does not come till the morning, after 7am due to planning restrictions hat state o night deliveries. Therefore if you order for an early morning delivery you get very little fresh stuff. Order for mid afternoon you will get stuff with longer dates etc.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

For all those stressing about the delivery slots here is a heads up.
Even those that have been showing as fully booked will have availability when the full range of slots are released as per the usual weekly up date.
I know this as the final figures for the number of slots was one agreed yesterday. Every store got a call to check how many orders they could deal with due to staffing etc.
So far only a limited number had been released to those with the priority booking.
I would recommend people check again to look at availability.
Is know our local store is showing full but they have less than 100 booked for the 23rd. :TIf you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
And in our store they still haven't decided on Boxing day or New Years Day. Have they in yours ?? xxWins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0

Yep. If they sy they haven't it is too late to get staff in.
Who wold want to work those days?? If they don't have to and they can not force people to work them as it is against their contracts. They might get a few but not all the drivers. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
Lol, i know its too late. Just fed up with hearing "so, are you going to work one of those days ??" . The amount of times managers have heard the No word in the last two weeks in unbelievable. I think sometimes they forget that Mr T is not the be all and end all. 3 drivers and 2 pickers said they would work NYD. But no-one for Boxing Day. xxWins in 2013 - Jan - Heinz No Noise Ketchup.0

Well I am well chuffed.
Regular Tesco online shopper but didn't sign up for delivery saver.
Booked a slot for Wed 19th no problems, then have ammended it each day with no problems, loads of availability. Got up this morning and got my 'preferred' slot of Sat 22nd 2-3pm - PERFECT! Which is what I would have booked if I had got delivery saver!
Very pleased!

I've now got a slot for the Saturday 2-3pm. Very, very pleased with that!
Have Tesco got more staff, delivery vans etc? Seems much better this year.
Or is it because I've been more on the ball because I haven't got my priority slot this year!
