Sainsbury's Brand Match - Catch?

Firstly I apologise if I have put this in the wrong place.
Always been a bit dubious of Sainsbury's brand match so decided to test it out, mainly because whenever wine is on offer there is a big blank space on the one that I wanted!
Bought 6 bottles of wine, every bottle was cheaper at Tesco and both currently have 25% off if buy 6 or more. Only had the wine, so not to confuse the brand match with other items. Should have got a brand match voucher for £6.20 but got one telling me my shop was £13 cheaper in Sainsbury's - well it was compared to Asda, but Tesco would have been cheaper.
Put the receipt details in the brand match website - and it is NOT applying the 25% discount in Tesco. Just wonder how many other people have lost out on this? If you phone them they will give you the money back, but that's not the point we shouldn't have to do the leg work! and what about people that don't have a computer? and the majority that would not bother to check?
So check your receipts now!
Also just in case people don't know, the 25% applies to 6 or more bottles, not multiples of 6 (as Sainsbury's staff told me), so you get 25% off if you buy 6,7,8,9,10,11 or more!
The other thing about brand match (apart from minumum £20 spend) is that it applies to the whole basket of goods, so if you buy things on offer in Tesco or Asda but also have things that are cheaper in Sainsbury's, then it balances itself out - which is probably why I never seem to get a brand match! So if you just want the wine then put it through separately.
But on the wine, just check your receipts now (you can just Google the brand match site or find it on the 'live well for less' section on Sainsbury's website and that wasn't easy to find either!)
