Real Christmas Tree

I am fed up with my artificial tree and was going to go for a real one this year. Are there any good deals going about just now and is there anything I should consider before purchasing a real tree ?

The local chase usually has the best deals, just pop up in the evening with a saw.

When u buy a real tree, do you have to buy a pot to hold it in, or can you buy special stands ?

depending on the size not many come in the pots... they have special stands like this ->http://www.toolbox.co.uk/elho-nordman-christmas-tree-16915-132290?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=GB&utm_campaign=GoogleBase

B and Q do good deals; you can get a tree from 7.95. I've got my tree from them for the past few years and have always got a lovely tree.

This year I got a Nordman fir for £18.00

Ikea are having a deal this Saturday. Real tree costs £25 but then you get a £20 Ikea voucher so if you were going to shop in IKEA anyway the tree would cost £5. Deal is only on this Saturday not sure if it is all ikea stores or not. Hope that helps.
