I'm sticking more old stock on ebay, sending off my acceptance letter to barclays, have brought a packed lunch (then get a call from my FIL taking me to lunch!!) and am dropping off a request for warrant of exectution on a debt I had to get a judgemt for from the court.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

    Today I have managed:

To reduce my Breakdown cover (saving about £36 a year)
Received Broadband box from Sky for Free broadband :D
Cancel my Phone Insurance (saving about £70 a year)
Cancelled old internet connection (saving £179 a year)

    Today's total saving £285 per year :j

For the rest of the day the aim is to spend little as possible due to buying OH takeaway later because he paid last week!
    Current debt - £16,300 :(
    Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek:
:ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A
  • Well today didn't start out too good on the DFW road, as work cancelled my shift so 43 quid down!

However while at home I've managed to:

Sort out loads of stuff for charity shop and freecycle (feel good factor)

Find £4 of Luncheon Vouchers (in carrier bag used for packing up above!)

Claim on MBG for some fabric conditioner I bought (£1.38).

Will prepare own lunch (instead of buying lunch at work - £3)

Will walk to Tesco and use above £4 vouchers to offset shopping, yay!!!!! :j

    Have a good day everyone!

Haven't posted on here for a little while - but as I'm sitting here each my lunch which I made this morning and bought from home I thought I would. Haven't worked out how much it cost to make yet (that's the plan for the weekend) but will be less than the £2-£2.50 a day I have been spending since I changed to a different part of the site I work on and we don't have such good kitchen facilities as the last office did - but we do have our own snack bar :o
