I subscribe to this thread and everyday I get a reminder. Nice and simple.
Separate threads means (to me at least) more complication as I will probably miss some days when my evening comping session may not find these advents.

they can all be entered daily for a number of days rather than one of entry or entry on one day only. thus each new comp needs a new thread as the old one doesn't end when the new one starts as happens with most advents.

links to the thread for each comp are posted in the daily thread, as they are year long

I need to say something: thanks to purplecatlover for the amount of patience shown. I am one of those who never understands anything and gets electric about everything. Instead, people like you and MANY others still have time to explain some things.
Hadn't it being for baguette's enquiry I wouldn't have even been able to construct it as a question.
So that shows why MSE wins, because what goes around comes around. In the long run generosity pays back! ALWAYS!

thanks so much, i dont personally use the dailies etc and seeing as it is an advent i was using this thread along with the 100 other people that were thanking the posts.

but the post from laks will be added to the dailes whenever
i subscribe to this thread as well to keep updated with the daily advent one on marie-claire but also realised laks/ops are posting them sep. on the comps board
