Can anyone tell me how you get the pictures next to the messages that you post- where do you get them from and how do you apply them. There are some great ones and funny ones---Please tell ???.

the picture is known as an avatar - you change it or apply it by going into your profile (the click link is in the beige coloured box at the top of the screen - click profile and it will take you to an area where you can change your password, signature and avatar

if that doesn't help, try using the search facility and type in the word avatar and change the length of search paramter to 360 days, a number of threads should come up with detailed instructions on how to change your avatar.
