hiya
have just come across your diary and have enjoyed reading. well done on taking the first steps to sorting..well by the sounds of it everything really!
me and my fiance have finally got settled in our new house and have our heads screwed on to tackle our 10k debt so i feel your pain!
just looked at your soa and noticed the below. they seem a little steep? have you tried the energy comparison websites to see if you could save money on this? we only have electric in our property and out electric is only £21 a month and there is someone there all day. failing that perhaps try and get a new metre fitted as yours may be faulty?
Electricity............................. 66
Mobile phone............................ 65
could this be cut? our phones bills used to be around this but we are switiching to giffgaff who use o2 network for a bundle which only costs £10 a month each, might be worth looking at.
good luck

Hi pink, thank you. Congratulations on your new house, isn't it great to get settled in somewhere and for it to feel like home?
The gas and electric is with Npower and what I was quoted. I thought it was quite reasonable, but I will be submitting regular meter readings and who knows, maybe I'll get a rebate after a year?
The mobiles I know are steep. My bill is around £10-15 a month. DH is locked in a contract until around May next year. He can, however, cut down his usage, and I will be speaking to him about this. We can probably whittle it down to about £35 a month until the end of his contract, when I'll encourage him to haggle with his network for the same contract as mine.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Happy new year to all! I have a simple resolution - to be a better mum and wife.
I have to admit, the 10k steps have fallen by the wayside, and I put on about 5lb over the holiday period. However, I began low carbing yesterday, and will be going to the gym later today, when DH wakes up after his night shift.
