I've had a cough and cold for nearly a week now, and I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself. I'm convinced that if I write down some of the things that are playing on my mind, then maybe it'll clear the way for me to feel better.
1) So, first off, I have £3321.21 to pay on my Barclaycard. It's at 0% until next September so it's not all bad, but I'm so annoyed at being in debt again.
2) We (DH, DS and I) have moved into a flat recently and still need some furniture so that everything doesn't remain in boxes. However, this clashes with the need to pay off debt. We don't have a car or van, so can't collect large items from Freecycle, so will have to go without until the credit card is paid.
3) I am 11st 1lb and I want to be 10st. I keep starting to cut down on food and up my exercise but then lose motivation. For some reason though, last night I decided that enough was enough and from today, 10k steps a day will be done, no matter what. We need to cut down on our food bill anyway, so there will be less junk to eat which should help.
4) I haven't been looking after myself, and frankly I'm a mess. My hair needs cutting, my nails need to be sorted and I need to use some of the moisturiser that I have so much of.
5) I am doing an OU degree, and I need to dedicate time to studying daily, instead of doing massive chunks when I feel like it. DH is now in a regular shift pattern, so this should be easier.
6) DS is 11 months and is a joy, apart from when he is being a total pain in the backside. I need to learn patience, and hold my temper, because I don't want him to learn that when you're annoyed, you growl or shout.
Today marks the beginning of a new attitude - quitting whining and taking action! I'll whine a bit on here, but will also take lots of action. I will start by joining the threads on here that I know are helpful, and actually posting instead of lurking.

            Today I have:
 1) Done 10k steps
 2) Painted my nails
 3) Had a NSD
I haven't managed to study or do much of anything else, because DS is refusing to sleep. I'm so tired, I'm crying a little bit.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Good lord it's cold! I haven't achieved anything today. I'm in a foul mood after a rubbish night, and this blasted cold still hasn't shifted.
 However:
 1) Today has been a NSD
 2) I've taken DS to see my parents and siblings, and DS is loving seeing everyone. Meanwhile, I get to relax and moan at my mum, which is lovely. Mum probably doesn't think so though...
 3) I will have done 10k steps by the end of the day.
The 'less moaning' hasn't happened today, but I am working on it.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Oh no. I've just re-read my last post and realised that I am turning into a negative waste of air. I think coming off of the antidepressants was a mistake. I will get back onto them pronto!
Good things that have happened today:
 1) Mum made cake. Cake rules.
 2) I have drank around 5 hot cups of tea. Usually I only get to drink tea when it is lukewarm. Any SAHPs will understand.
 3) I have really missed my parents and siblings, and it's wonderful to see them all again.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Wow, what a difference a full night's sleep makes! I'm a brand new person today. DS has been a total joy, my cold has mostly gone, and I've not felt murderous at all!
 Today I have:
 1) Done 10k steps
 2) Studied for an hour
 3) Managed another NSD
Er...and that's about it. Bit of a lazy day. Provided I don't get the midnight munchies, I will have stayed under my calorie allowance.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Today I ticked a few items off of my to-do list:
 1) Cleared the laundry basket
 2) Finally got round to getting the blood test I've been meaning to do
 3) Cleaned the kitchen
 4) Did 10k steps
 5) Had another NSD
 6) Cooked the food we have in the house, instead of buying ready-made meals or a takeaway

My eyelids feel so heavy! Last night was a late one. Sadly, not because I was partying, but because DS went to bed late and then I needed to catch up on housework.
 Today I have:
 1) Done 10k steps
 2) Had another NSD
 3) Received my mark back for my last OU assignment; I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but at least I passed
 4) Worked on another assignment
 5) Managed to fit in the 30 day shred
 6) Cleared out some boxes, put things in their place and decluttered.
Not too bad!HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

The last few days have been, ahem, not full of achievements. I have finished my OU maths course assignment, and I'll be sending off tomorrow, but other than that...no 10k steps, 2 takeaways...
I've had the idea that instead of paying £250 a month to the credit card, I'll pay the minimum and instead put £250 into a savings account that doesn't have a rubbish interest rate. Then, next April I'll use the contents of the account to pay a chunk of the card balance.
DS is climbing all over me so will post later.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69
