Wrapping wellingtons

Hi any ideas how to wrap adult wellingtons, hope this is in the right place.

  • Cellophane and a ribbon? Buy a plastic boot box and wrap them in that? My husband always makes a cracker with awkward shaped gifts - it CAN look nice. Wrap them individually so it is obvious what they are - no good for a surprise but good fun!
  • Maybe try putting one leg inside the other so you get a kind of enlongated "U" shape. Might be a bit easier to wrap?

    Good luck!

I usually go along to somewhere like asda or tesco in the evening when they are stacking the shelves and ask for some of the boxes. That way awkward shaped pressies can be chucked in a box. Easy to wrap and the person getting them has no idea what they are getting until they open the box :)
  • could you sew a simple drawstring bag in Christmas fabric. Would look lovely and some storage for the boots?
  • You can get some nice plastic boot boxes in B&M bargains. :)

  • thanks for the ideas, like the sound of the plastic boot boxes but then again i like the sound of the storage bag as well, thanks once again.
